Terms & Conditions – Home Appliance Repair
By using our services or submitting your phone number, you agree to the following company policies and SMS terms:
1. Service Call Charge
A diagnostic/service fee is required for all visits. This amount is credited toward the final repair if approved within 30 days.
2. Cancellations & Special Orders
- Special-order parts require non-refundable deposits
- Restocking fees may apply for canceled orders
- Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance
3. Written Estimates
All repairs are quoted and approved in writing before work begins. No extra work will be done without your consent.
4. Warranty
- 90-day warranty on parts & labor under normal usage
- No warranty on refrigerant or customer-supplied parts
- Warranty void if damage occurs due to misuse or third-party tampering
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise stated
- 2% monthly late fee (min. $10) on unpaid balances
- Returned checks incur a $30 fee
6. Damage Waiver
We are not responsible for incidental property damage during service, including to flooring, cabinetry, or surfaces near the appliance.
7. Right to Cancel (3-Day Rule)
You may cancel any agreement within 3 business days in writing. Any parts delivered must be returned in unused condition.
8. Licensing
Home Appliance Repair is a licensed and insured contractor. License information is available upon request or through state contractor registries.
9. Mechanics Lien & Joint Checks
We reserve the right to use joint checks and issue preliminary lien notices in cases involving subcontracted labor or materials.
10. Dispute Resolution
Please report issues to our dispatch office first. Unresolved matters may be handled in the small claims court of the county where service occurred.
